                           OUR FELLOW LIVING BEINGS

Humans have existed on this planet since 2 lac years whereas, our fellow beings(other life forms) have existed on this planet earth since 3.5 to 3.8 billion years. So according to the rules of nature, all  creatures have equal rights to live on this earth which supports the existence of us all, (in the usage of us i mean all creatures, not just humans) rather, it actually supported the existence of animals before humans!  But now our fellow beings are striving for their existence, suffering many problems, and are....dying!!!! But like us humans, they do not know how to express their feelings. They simply live through their problems like hunger, and die without any happiness(where human beings strive for excellence even if they have a lot of happiness in their lives). I am not saying that we humans are on the wrong track of striving for satisfaction, because that will be the thing that we want after happiness(according to what i think!) But what I would like to convey is,along with living our life, it may not take much of our time, trying to protect our fellow beings.
For example, we will look into the case of   BP deepwater horizon catastrophe in april 2010, the largest accidental marine oil spill in the history of the petroleum industry. It is an oil spill in the Gulf of mexico which flowed unabated for three months in 2010, and may be continuing to leak. It spilled 205.8 million gallons of oil and 225,000 tons of methane into the Gulf of Mexico. Approximately 25 percent of the oil was recovered, leaving more than 154 million gallons of oil at sea. In addition to the oil, nearly 2 million gallons of toxic dispersants were sprayed into the Gulf’s waters. This did not actually reduce the amount of oil left in the ocean, but merely broke it into smaller particles, which may actually make the oil more toxic for some ocean life and ease its entry into the food chain.
A year after the April 20, 2010, explosion that caused the well to leak oil for months, the ultimate toll on people and wildlife is still not fully understood. But one thing is clear: The number of birds, sea turtles, dolphins and other animals sickened or killed and tallied as part of the government’s official count represents a small fraction of the total animals harmed by this disastrous spill.
So a large fraction of animals are dying because of such mistakes of humans and we need to take it as our responsibility to protest against the government, in the same way as we do if the same thing happens to humans, so that it will not be repeated again. And finally I would like to request my fellow human beings to love and let live our FELLOW LIVING BEINGS.
